Elizabeth Faye Daugherty, age 78 of Dayton, passed away January 28, 2020. She was born April 15, 1941 in Lee County, KY to the late Caleb and Mae Stamper. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her brothers: Mitchell and Bradley Stamper; sisters: Betty Stahl and Shirley Spratt.
Faye is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Daugherty; sons: Ricky P. Daugherty, Raymond L. Daugherty, Jack D. Daugherty and Scotty J. Daugherty; grandchildren: Sarah K. Quillen, Tiffanny Oldham, Lindsey Mae Koeller, Autumn M. Daugherty, Jason D. Daugherty, Joshua R. Daugherty, Samantha M. Daugherty, Billy Daugherty and Noah Daugherty; many great-grandchildren; brother, George Stamper; sisters: Thelma Taylor, Geneva Gossett and Luci Murty; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Faye enjoyed crafting, going to flea markets, crocheting, making afghans and quilts. She was a very kind, loving woman who devoted her life to raising and loving her sons.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Trotwood, Ohio. Contributions may be made in Faye's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
