BOOHER (Quire), Elizabeth L. passed away peacefully Monday November 14, 2005 at home of her granddaughter and caregiver, Janet E. Becker. Born May 18, 1914 in Louisville, KY. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, homemaker and grandmother, she was a member of The Navy Mothers' Club (past president), Eastern Star, Belmont Chapter, and United Commercial Travelers. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl L. Booher; parents Curtis Quire and Lurlie (Sipes) Quire; son Gerald Booher; brothers Robert "Buddy", Melvin, and John Quire; sisters Margaret Priser and Helen Emonin; and grandchildren Marvin Booher Jr. and Cathy Garnlund. Elizabeth is survived by her children Richard (Amy) Booher, Janet Granlund, and Marvin (Linda) Booher; brother William Quire; sister Katherine Hutzler; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and other family and friends. Services will be held 10:00AM Saturday November 19, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 5-7PM Friday November 18,2005. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. In Elizabeth's memory contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Expressions of sympathy may be made to www.NewcomerFamilycom.
