Elizabeth "Melanie" Adams

Elizabeth "Melanie" Adams, age 55 of Riverside passed away peacefully on November 22, 2017. Melanie was born in Fayetteville, NC to parents James Sebastian and Ruth Dillon. She attended Stebbins High School. Melanie attended Fortis College to earn her degree in Nursing. Melanie loved the outdoors. In her free time she enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her family. She was a loving, caring, and compassionate woman. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Melanie was preceded in death by her father, James Sebastian; step-father, Delbert Dillon; aunt, Kay Pelequin; uncles, Melvin Thomason, Bill Thomason, Joe Thomason, John Thomason, and Junior Thomason; and granddaughter, Cheyanne.

Melanie leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Keith Adams; daughters, Jessie Hasty, Rachael Hasty, and Crystal Hasty; mother, Ruth Dillon; grandchildren, Dillon, Nate, Sabrina, Kimberly, Vayda, Veronica, and Mary; brother, Johnny (Stacy) Sebastian; mother and father-in-law, Frank and Louella Rose; step-brother, Todd Dillon; nieces, Danielle, Angela, Laura, and Norah; nephews, Christopher and Seth; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at Newcomer - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road) on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 12:30pm - 1:30pm. After the visitation loved ones will gather at Valley View Memorial Gardens - Chapel for a graveside and committal service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
