Elinor Rodgers passed away peacefully on January 17, 2012 at Grafton Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
She was born on September 3, 1921 in Westerville, OH and celebrated her 90th birthday with family this past year.
Preceded in death by her husband Samuel Rodgers, parents Robert and Caroline Mark, sisters Betty Robison (Dwight), Mary Alice Larzelere (John), brother William "Bill" Mark (Alice) and sister-in-law Ethel Mark.
She is survived by "her girls" Phyllis Rodgers, Kate Turner (Lowell) and Pat Kellison (Tom), grandchildren Eric and Jennifer Turner, brother Philip Mark and several nephews and their families.
She will be remembered for her creativity as a fiber artist in weaving, for her paintings and her special touch in making her house a home.
The family extends their profound thanks to Grafton Oaks for their excellent and loving care. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that you support a charity of your choice or St. Jude's Hospital.
