Eleanor Louise Puckett

Eleanor Louise Puckett, 83, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away suddenly on June 10, 2022, with family by her side. She was born to the late Lawrence and Mary Koyn on December 29, 1938, in Oceanside, CA.
Eleanor graduated from Highline Senior High School, Burien, WA in 1957 and worked in logistics and project management as a civilian with the USAF for 35+ years. After retiring, she participated in Girl Scouts, becoming a leader, mentor, and "grandma" to many girls throughout the last 25 years. She was still an active volunteer upon her death.
Eleanor enjoyed woodworking, gardening, sewing and all things craft related. She was a very talented artist and enjoyed sharing her projects with all those she loved.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her daughter Mary (Puckett) Booth, and siblings Sylvia, Robert (Larry), Dale and Patricia Ann Koyn as well as Joan Mason.
She is survived by her daughter Andie & Brad Gates; grandchildren Heather Booth & fiancé Bruce Poorman, Nick & Karinne Nagel, Jeff & Toni Gates, and Katie & Joe Denniston; great grandchildren include Milo, Finley & Lucy Gates and Keller & Sloane Denniston. She is also survived by sisters Janet Reese and Kathy & Jim Aldredge as well as special friend/adopted daughter Frannie Duntz.
Eleanor was an amazing single parent mom and then single parent grandma. She dedicated her life to her family and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 24, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Angels Pass Park, 801 Factory Road, Beavercreek, Ohio.
