Eleanor Louise Arthur
Age 70, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton.
Eleanor was born April 23, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio to Claude & Verda Jeffers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Patterson.
Eleanor is survived by her loving husband of the past 52 years, Arvel Hasten Arthur; two loving daughters, Veronica Williams and Michele & her husband Jeff DeLorme; four grandchildren, Aaron Williams, Matthew & his wife Andrea Williams, Danielle DeLorme and Courtney DeLorme; one great grandson, Cameron Williams; brother, Ray Jeffers; and by two sisters, Dillie Sanders and Elizabeth & her husband John Bedford.
Eleanor loved and cared for her family with great passion. She will forever remain in their hearts and minds.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, with interment to follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
