Eleanor Kathleen Green

GREEN, Eleanor K. "Nell", born March 12, 1911 in Acton Middlesex, England, passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at age 99. Nell relocated to Dayton, OH in May of 1995 and lived here for many happy years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jessie Hammond; husband, Robert Green, and seven siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda (Chuck) Huey; granddaughter, Leigh Huey; grandson, Rob (Dana) Huey; great grandson, Ethan Huey; sister-in-law, Joyce Green of England, niece, Val Bushby of England; nephew Richard Green of Spain; nieces, Diane Wood of England, Audrey Richardson of Canada, and Doris King of New Jersey; dear friends, Pat Wolpert, Anne Albright, Carmen Davis, Beryl Prendergast, Marge Davis and their families, and many friends in the British Wives Club and in the Riverside Seniors, as well as her cat, Jinx.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the angels at Hospice of Dayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
