Elaine Kay Wright, age 73 of Dayton, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at Tapestry Senior Living. She was born July 23, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Paul and Beatrice Funkhouser.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Clay Wright; sister-in-law, Tammy Funkhouser; and aunt, Beaulah Kerr.
Elaine is survived by her son, Scott (Tracey) Wright; grandchildren, Kayla, Clay, Garrett, and Kyle; brother, Gary Funkhouser; nephews, Shawn and Kevin; cousins, Jeff, Judy, Cynthia, and Pam; as well as many extended relatives and friends.
