Elaine Wood

Elaine Wood, age 73, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021. She was born November 13, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of the late Edward and Jeanne Price.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Dane and Timothy Price.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Ronald Wood; beloved son, Jason (Whitney Barnes) Mosley; adored grandson, Jonah Mosley; step-children, Heather Cash, Ronald Wood and Donald Wood; step-grandchildren, Aunesty and I'Zhane Campbell, Daran (Daneisha) Cash; special niece, Heidi (Jason) Evans; brother, Don (Janet) Price; step-great grandchildren, Daran Cash, Jr. and Delilah Cash; along with many extended family and numerous friends; cherished dogs, Hausey, Tipper and Brody.

Elaine retired from Beavercreek Schools as their Treasurer after 31 years of dedicated service. She turned her hobby into a passion creating a jewelry business Wearable Rainbows. Elaine was a devoted wife, mother and adored her grandson, Jonah. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Elaine was a people person with an extraordinary personality who never met a stranger.

Visitation will take place from 2:00-3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424, where her funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM.

The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
