Elaine E. Owens (Sanford)

Elaine E. Owens (Sanford), age 90, of Kettering passed away peacefully on September 29, 2023. She was born in Salina, Kansas on May 21, 1933 to the late Ernest and Elsie Schneider. In addition to her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Raymond Owens and son, Charles "Chucky" Scott Owens.

Elaine is survived by her children, Robbie (Lisa) Owens, Michelle (Tom) Bauer, Julia (Michael) Randolph; grandchildren, Katie (Wayne) Blunk, Meghan Elaine Owens, Rex Allen Delawder, Tyler Owen Martin (Chloe), Justin (Anna) Randolph, Christopher Randolph, Jeremy (Anna) Randolph, Jenna (Ryley) Regan, Lauren Randolph; great-grandchildren, Addison Randolph, Kyler Randolph, Emery Randolph, Chloe Blunk, Emily Blunk, Alayna Blunk; along with many other family and friends.

Elaine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother (Grammy) and great-grandmother. She was a successful stay-at-home mom, compassionate care giver and career woman. Elaine enjoyed reading, collecting stamps and coins and most of all, spending time with her family. May the cardinals sing her to her well-deserved rest.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third Street. Rev. Daniel Meister to officiate.
