Elaine Bowren Karimi

Elaine Bowron Karimi, 85 years old, passed on Tuesday, September 3rd at Soin Hospital from complications related to a heart attack.

Elaine was born September 2, 1939, in Graham, Texas to the late James Alden Bowren and Powell Bowren. She was the oldest of two children. Her younger sister Janie preceded her in death. Elaine was college educated and spent most of her career as a CNRA at Cleveland Clinic.

Elaine was married to Hossein Karimi. She became the stepmother to three of his children – Shila, Ron and Tina.

Elaine professed her life to Christ. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairborn, OH. Elaine attended many bible study groups and always enjoyed helping others. Elaine loved to read her bible, praying for others and spent much of her later years with special friends, Linda, Lisa, Kathy, Lynn and Alice.

Elaine especially loved her dog, Paco. She and Paco were inseparable and enjoyed many rides together.

Elaine leaves to cherish her loving memory to her stepchildren, Tina, Ron, Shila and to her niece Robin Wright and her five children whom she loved very much.

Elaine will be laid to rest beside her sister in Texas.

Family will be holding a private celebration of life.
