Elaine Mary Graves

Elaine Graves joined her Heavenly Father on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2018. Elaine was born to her loving family on March 18,1954.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Joseph L. Graves and Alma (Hemmelgarn) Graves.

Elaine is survived by her brothers and sisters, Joseph Graves (Barbara), Robert Graves (Barbara), Marilyn Graves Lysobey (Robert), Marlene Graves Lutkenhoff (Steve), John Graves (Kimberly), and many nephews and nieces. Elaine lived with her family until 1999 when she moved to a Rescare group home in Centerville, OH.

Elaine was a gentle soul who will be missed by family and friends and remembered for her ready smile and infectious laughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 2300 S. Smithville Road, Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be for an hour before Mass in the vestibule of the church. Internment, attended by the immediate family, will follow the Mass.

The family would like to thank Elaine's friendly and caring "second family" of her group home where Elaine spent 19 joyful years. The family also is extremely grateful to the compassion and assistance of the nurses and aides of Hospice of Dayton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Immaculate Conception Church in Elaine's memory.
