Elaine Eva Gilmore

Elaine Eva Gilmore, age 97 of Englewood, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024. She was born August 19, 1927 in Greene County, Pennsylvania daughter of the late Christopher and Madonna Davis. 

Elaine was a devoted wife, loving mother, "Little grandma", great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Huber Heights Senior Citizens for many years. Elaine will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. 

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her first husband, James O. Gapen; late husband, Claude H. Gilmore; grandchildren, Timmy Fister and Taylor Gapen; son-in-law, Brad Ogg; and brother, Christopher Davis Jr.

She is survived by her children, Diane Ogg, Larry Gapen, Terry (Brenda) Gapen, JoAnne (Tim) Fister, and Barry (Bobbi) Gapen; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends. 

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 10am at Greene County Memorial Park, 1003 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.

Memorial contributions can be made in Elaine's honor to Hospice of Dayton and or Cypress Pointe Health Campus.
