Elaine Dorn

DORN (Gilbert, Gay), Elaine, born Oct. 24, 1914, of Oakwood, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 after 6 weeks of illness at Hospice of Dayton. She retired from Precision Rubber. Survived by her daughter, Billie Kinkade; grandchildren, Gay (Tom) Mastbaum, Joy Forcier, and Merrily Noel (Jeff) Long; great grandchildren, Sara and Andy Mastbaum; step-children, Bette and Paul Dorn, and her beloved feline companion, "Gary", who made her smile. She attended St. George's Episcopal Church services. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Monday, June 1, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Rev. Joseph Redmond, Jr. officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Fairview Cemetery, Englewood. This wonderful woman will be sadly missed, but beautifully remembered.
