Elaine (Fister) Albright

Elaine Albright (Fister) of Beavercreek passed away Wednesday January 16, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton at the age of 71. The daughter of Charles J. and Mary K. Fister, she was born December 31, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio.
Elaine's elementary years were at Corpus Christi School. She graduated from Patterson Co-op High School, class of 1966. She met her husband Bruce S. Albright while working at Inland Fisher Guide. They lived initially in Dayton OH before moving to Beavercreek in 1973. There, they raised their three children, Kerri, Ed, and Ben.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Judy Huelsman; brother Dennis Fister; father and mother-in-law Charles and Ruth Albright; brother-in-law Bob Knapp; nephews Virgil Knapp, Timmie Fister, Rusty Phillips and Robby Spurling.
Elaine cherished spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were very precious to her and she was lovingly known as Grandma Sunshine. She loved all creatures great and small. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, crafting, sewing, reading, cooking, board games, and yard sales.
Elaine is survived by her husband Bruce; sons Ben (Marissa) Albright, Ed (Roxanne) Albright; daughter Kerri (Patrick) Evans; grandchildren Allison, Madelyn, Samantha, Lydia, Charlie, Faith, Alex and Hannah; sisters Nancy (Bob) Ditch, Carol (Dale) Weddington, Debbie (Gene) Miller, Patti (Rich) Mercer, Julie (Bob) Spurling; brothers Chuck (Jean) Fister, Tom (Vicki) Fister, Tim (JoAnne) Fister, Kevin (Debbie) Fister, Mike (Pam) Fister, Brian (Bobbie) Fister, Jim (Abby) Fister; sister-In-Laws Ann (Dick) Hilditch and Robin Albright; brother in law Clete Huelsman. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Family requests memorial contributions can be made in Elaine's name to Alzheimer's Association or to Hospice of Dayton.
Visitation will be held on January 26, 2019 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton- Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Memorial & Celebration of her life will follow at 4:30 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3072 Shakertown Rd., Beavercreek, OH with Bishop Barnes officiating.
