Age 82, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009, at the Englewood Manor.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, George & Lela (Ray) Allen; and by two sisters, Geraldene & Margaret.
Eileen is survived by three children, Evelyn J. & her husband, Robert L. Gore, Linda L. Hendricks and Kenneth E. & his wife, Karen E. Ramby; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Emogene (Louis) Beigel; two brothers, Ray (Shirley) Allen & Charles (Jan) Allen; and by her extended family & many good friends.
Eileen was a long-time member of Bethel Christian (formerly Bethel Temple) Assembly of God Church; she also attended the Spaulding Road Church of God and retired from General Motors in 1991 with 25 years of service.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m., Friday, with Pastors Michael Cleghorn and Larry Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
