Eileen C. Pruzzo

Eileen C. Pruzzo, age 85, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday November 30, 2011. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 25, 1926 to the late William E. and Helen Strady. In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Dr. John L. Pruzzo; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Gale Demaree.

Eileen is survived by her five children, Kathy (Art) Kelsey, Beth (Scott) Houchens, Lisa (Bobby) Gibson, Phillip Pruzzo and Eddie Pruzzo; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, William E. Strady, Jr.; sister-in-law, V.G. Strady; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.

The family would like to send out a special "Thank You" to the staff at Oak Creek Terrace and The Hospice of Dayton for their loving care and support they provided to their Mother. Donations may be made in Eileen's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday December 6, 2011 at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior from 5:00-6:00 pm.
