Eileen Birmingham

Eileen Ruth Birmingham, age 68 of Dayton, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born March 17, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of the late William and Elaine Cooper. She graduated from Patapsco High School. Eileen then earned her Nursing Certification from the Lancaster School of Nursing. She had a long career working as Director of Case Management and RN for Optum for 32 years.  Eileen was passionate about the field of nursing and was a member of CCMC, the Commission for Case Management Certification. In her free time she enjoyed Gardening and Crocheting. Eileen cherished time with her family, especially with her grandson, Liam and with her dogs, Watson and Hamish. Eileen Eileen joins her late husband, Kevin Birmingham in heaven, and will be deeply missed.

Eileen is survived by her Daughters, Erin Birmingham, and Dana (Jeffrey) Kelly; Brother, William F. Cooper, III; Grandson, William M. Kelly; and by numerous friends.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Centerville (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm.
