Efrain F. Marrero, 82, of Brooklyn, passed away September 13, 2016. Efrain was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 4, 1934. Efrain retired from Webster Apartments in New York City. He was a member of United Electrical Works Union for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports on TV, going to the movies, fixing all things broken and spending time with his grandchildren. Efrain was preceded in death by his mother, Inocencia Marrero; and brothers, Ralph Marrero, Johnny Romero.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Maxine Marrero; sons, Ralph (Noemi) Marrero, Efren (Lindsay) Marrero, Edgar; daughter, Maxine Marrero; grandchildren, Treveour, Brianna, Adria, Zachariah, Joshua, Aubrey, Elijah, Sierra, Migdalia, Franklin; many great grandchildren; sister, Victoria Marrero; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 9:30am-10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 10:30am with Pastor Liz DeWeese officiating.
