Efford "Hutch" Hutchins, 59, of Dayton, passed away on February 24, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born on February 22, 1961 to Edward and Louise (Brown) Hutchins in Dayton, OH.
Hutch worked as a Cook at Double Days for the last 30 years. He was dedicated to his job; he was only late once and missed work once. His coworkers were like a second family.
He was a beloved Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Reds fan, through and through. He was a very good father, brother, and grandfather. When he wasn't working, his family was his top priority.
Hutch is survived by his loving son, Dennis F. (Renee) Hutchins; grandchildren, Crystal, Chelsea (Jack), Nicholas, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Elijah, and Aiden; siblings, Jim Hutchins, Robert "Bo" Hutchins, Ernie (Deborah) Hutchins, Terry (Gloria) Hutchins, and Billie Allen; nieces and nephews, Curtis, Kevin, Terry, Elizabeth, David, Matthew, Mark, Karen, Shawn, Michael, Brian, Jimmy, Cassandra, Hadleigh, Donavan, Brennen, and Harper; special friends, Gail Finn and Dan Tippon; his work family at Double Days; other loving family and friends; and beloved dog, Toby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Louise Hutchins; siblings, Juanita, Cathleen, Dave, Mark, and Jeffrey Hutchins.
Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2020, from 1-3 pm at 417 Dawnview Ave, Dayton, OH 45431.
