Edwina J. Mackey

Sis. Edwina Mackey, age 71, Sweet Spirit departed this life Tuesday July 31,2012. She was born February 19, 1941. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Edward and Julia Hansbro, grandmother, Lula Oldwine and sister, Suedella Daniels.
Sis. Mackey accepted Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and became a Minister of the Gospel. She was a faithful member of First Church of Deliverance. She was a serious Usher at Daniel Temple for many years. Sis. Mackey was the Founder and President of FHC and The Womens Circle. She worked in Unity Ministries and was very proud to be a part of the A-Team. Sis. Mackey also sang with Gospel groups The Original Six and the Daniel Lights of Dayton, Ohio.
Sis. Mackey leaves to cherish her memories four children: son, Lloyd Hansbro, daughters, Tonia (James) Harris, Tara Mackey, and Stephanie (Tracey) Mackey. Grandchildren (8) Rhonda Allen, La Tescha Allen, Toschia (Carlton) Dixon, Tyson Patrick Jr., Javion Blake Harris, LaShay Ivory, Juan Hansbro and Te'Reia Mackey. Great Grandchildren (4) Sharene, Dalin, Sharese and Dalin Allen. God Daughter Magenta R Boyd. Aunts (3) Hughetta Clay, Bessie Montgomery aqnd Mary Elliot and a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins and many "Precious Friends".
Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 6, 1:00 pm at the Potter's House-Dayton, 2050 Germantown Street, Dayton, Ohio 45417. Visitation at 1 hour prior to time of service.
