BYRD, Edwina, age 72, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 20, 2005. She was born December 13, 1932 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of Edward and Isabelle (Winters) Browne. She retired from Montgomery County as a case worker after 25 years and was a member of College Hill Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Byrd; one son, W.L. Byrd, Jr.; two sisters, Annette Cross and Delphine Browne; one brother, Eddie Browne; and both parents. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Byrd and Pamela Byrd; two sons, Gary Byrd and Kenneth Byrd; 6 grandchildren, Carletta Byrd, Terra (Allen) Spears, Camille (Kevin) Humble, Christopher (Leah) Byrd, Robert Forward, Michelle Keith, and David Madison; 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Ed) Bradfield, Cecile (Leroy) Roberts; one brother, Daryl (Eugenia) Browne; special friend, Angie Smith; and a host of friends and relatives.
