Edwin R. Mcneese Sr.

Edwin "Ray" McNeese, of West Carrollton, born on June 27, 1932, at age 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen L. McNeese; his mother and father, Banie and Orville Raymond McNeese; and his great-granddaughter, Abigail.

Ray leaves to mourn his passing, children Edwin (Joni) McNeese Jr., Richard (Judy) McNeese, Deborah (Geoff) Hill, and Cynthia (David) Kern; grandchildren, Michael (Becky) McNeese, Jason (Dawn) McNeese, Melissa (Steve) Elliott, Amanda (Jonathan) Zemmer, Stacie (Daniel) Fuentes, Daniel (Amanda) McNeese, Kelsey Kern, and Andi Hill; great-grandchildren, Stevie Elliott, Macey Elliott, Katie Elliott, Julie Elliott, Owen McNeese, Kale McNeese, Ryne McNeese, and Reese Zemmer.

Ray retired from Delco Products on January 1, 1989. Ray was a long-time member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church, where he served in the church's bus ministry for many years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his Lord and was dedicated to his family. His loving spirit will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He will remain forever in our hearts.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 9:30-10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The funeral will follow immediately with interment at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
