Edwin Pentecost

PENTECOST, Edwin age 65 of Beavercreek, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 5, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Dorothy Pentecost. He is survived by Vivian, his loving wife of 37 years, his daughters Heather King, Dana Simpson and Tracey Poulsen; grandchildren Jakob and Jolie, Sarah and Matthew, and Morgan; brother Tom Pentecost; and a host of other relatives and friends. Edwin served our country in the US Air Force for 8 years in Security Service and retired after 30 years as a Senior Intelligence Officer at WPAFB. He was a member of the AmVets Post 464, VFW 200 and NARFE. Edwin enjoyed restoring old cars,spending time target shooting at the Troy Fish and Game Club, and he was an avid dog lover. Edwin was very patriotic and he loved serving his country. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral servies will be 11:00 am Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road,with Pastor Peter Bellini officiating.
