Edwin Harville

Edwin "Ed" Harville, age 80, of Riverside, Born January 14th, 1943, and passed on July 17th, 2023.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (Lee) Harville, who he worked with in the many years of his truck driving career. Ed spent 5 and a half years in the U.S. Navy working on jet planes. He owned and operated "Instant Signs" in Dayton for more than 20 years, where he met his lifelong best friend, John Wilkins. Ed drove buses for the Head Start Program for many years.

He had a very big love of cars. Ed loved to be behind the wheel and driving fast. He spent a lot of time with his lovely daughter, Jennifer Blair showing her how to work on cars and how to drive them. He spent a lot of time with his stepson, Ryan Lee teaching him how to work on cars and how to drive a truck when he got older. As the years went on, he found that his granddaughter had the same love for cars that he and his daughter did. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, Abigail and Hunter taking them to the park and to the drive-ins when he was home off the road. He also loved taking his grandchildren to the county fair.

Ed will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
