Edward W. Hilderbrandt

HILDERBRANDT, Edward William, age 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2009 shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. He is survived by his daughters, Lynda Sych of Dayton, OH and Lois Moore of Berrien Springs, MI. Ed summed up his life with the following: "Most of my life was interesting to me, and I enjoyed life as I lived it. I tried to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative. I had many friends over the years and tried to be a friend to others. If I had my life to live over, I probably would not change very much. I like to quote Justice Thurgood Marshall who said, I did the best I could with what I had and where I came from." Memorial services will be privately held at a later date.
