Edward W. Clemans "Pack Rat", age 75, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 21, 2011.
Ed was born Feb. 3, 1936 in Springfield, OH to the late Ernest & Irma Clemans.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Grace Clemans; children, John (Jenny) Clemans, Tammy (David) Pitsinger, William Clemans; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jason) White, Casey (Jessica) Pitsinger, Chelsea Pitsinger, Michael Clemans, Jessica Myers, Eric Clemans; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Pitsinger, AJ White; sister, Betty Gultice; special friends John & Inge Gallivan, and Judy Drummer.
Ed retired from Chrysler in 1993. He was a Grand Knight four times and held other titles as a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 3730.
Ed brought joy and laughter to the staff at East Dialysis Center of Dayton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10am at Holy Trinity (272 Bainbridge St., Dayton, OH 45410). Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
