Edward "Scott" Stephens, age 50, of Xenia, passed away on January 2, 2023, at Hospice of Dayton with his loving family by his side. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on August 26, 1972, the son of Francis and Margaret Stephens.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward F. & Sarah Jane (Foster) Kerns and Elmer "Bun" & June Evelyn (Dudley) Stephens; aunt, Betty Gordon.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Bobbi J. Stephens; parents, Eugene and Christina Stephens; daughters, Alyssa Houser, Sarah Stephens and Kaylynn Stephens; grandchildren, Khloe, Wyatt, Olive and a soon-to-be grandson; siblings, Elizabeth Gosser and Tony (Michele) Stephens; nephews, Dax, Dane and Greysen; and many other loving family and friends.
Scott worked for over 7 years with DHL, where he was Line Haul Driver. In his free time, he enjoyed woodburning art, yard work (even helping others with their yard upkeep), attending toy shows, collecting vinyl records (anything classic rock or KISS), cheering on his Ohio State Buckeyes and was an avid fisherman. Scott was always there for anyone in need. He was such a hard worker, even when his health declined, he was still devoted to helping others. He adored his family and the time spent with them, even if they were across the country. He will be greatly missed by many whose lives he touched.
Scott's memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Xenia, Ohio on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
Donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
