Edward Paul Rees, 77, of Springboro, passed away on October 31, 2018.
He was born on April 14, 1941 to Clement and Jean (Martin) Rees in Columbus, OH.
He was a faithful Christian and avid Buckeye fan.
Edward retired from the Army National Guard as Chief Warrant Officer 4.
On October 1, 1976, he married Virginia Carol (Dawson) Rees in Columbus and made Springboro their home 13 years ago.
He was a member of Centerville Church of Christ and a former member of F&K Church of Christ in Columbus.
Edward is survived by his loving Wife, Carol Rees; Daughters, Mary (Joe) Capehart and Melanie Bricker; Step-Sons, Gary (Noelle) Bragg and Alan Bragg; Grandchildren, Kelli Swackhamer, Lauren (Mark) Stahl, Cole Capehart, Drew Capehart, Luke Capehart, and Nathan Bragg; Great Grandchildren, Grantley Anderson, Wyatt Stahl, and Harrison Stahl; Siblings, Roger (Pat), Carol Johnson, Rita (Michael) Shaffer, Michael (Beverly), Bill (Sue), Jim, Danny, and Rick (Tina); and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Clement and Jean Rees.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 5, 2018, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Centerville Church of Christ (1411 Old Spring Valley Ct, Centerville, OH 45458).
A Funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm.
Interment immediately after at Heritage Hills Memory Gardens (7370 OH-48, Springboro, OH 45066).
