Edward Pugh

PUGH, Edward S. "Bob", age 79 of Heath, OH, and formerly of Huber Heights, died Saturday, December 17, 2005. He was born May 15, 1926 in Portsmouth, OH, the son of Lafe and Merle (Johnson) Pugh. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Navy, a member of the Lions Club, V.F.W., and Huber Heights Baptist Temple. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marian Pugh; one daughter, Cathie (Bob) Wood of Syracuse, OH; one son, Gary Pugh of Thornville, OH; one foster child, Jeannette Greene of Port Charlotte, FL; one sister, Wanda Gilbert of Miamisburg; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; special cousins Monroe and Anne Jacobs; special friend, Brenda Beck; and several nieces and nephews; and his dog pepper. He was preceded in death by both parents; one son, Dave Pugh; one granddaughter, Pamela Wood; one grandson, Chad Pugh. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH) where funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Chuck Zimmerman officiating. Burial will in Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for his favorite charities.
