Edward Lee Despain

DESPAIN, Edward Lee, age 87, of Dayton, passed away, February 8, 2013. He was born July 21, 1925 in Mt. Sherman, KY. Lee was a founding member of Calvary Open Bible Church on Valley Street and retired from The Harris Thomas Drop Forge Company after 43 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie "Pauline" Despain; parents, Alford and Nora Despain; one brother, Willie Despain. Lee is survived by his children, Gale (Mark) Koerner, Patricia Despain, Al (Treva) Despain, Jeff (Bettina Almeida) Despain and Mike (Tami) Despain; sister, Hazel Edmonds; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Pastor Daniel Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Brookhaven Nursing Home and the staff of Hospice of Dayton.
