ASPER, Edward L., age 72, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard L. and Mildred Irene Asper and brother, John Robert Asper.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Asper; daughters, Jennifer J. Merritt and Jolene and Krist Schiller; brother, David and Sally Asper; sister, Rochelle Asper; family friend, Jim Gage, nieces and nephew, as well as granddogs, Tequila and Maci. Ed worked for Systems Research Laboratories in Beavercreek for 29 years.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of Dayton.
