Fisher, Ed, age 65 of Huber Heights passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Lifecare Hospital of Dayton. He was born January 21, 1943 in Dayton, the son of Carl D. & Betty J. Fisher. He was a graduate of Wayne High School, Class of 1961 and was inducted into the Wayne High School Football Hall of Fame for making All State in 1960. Ed was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church for 41 years. He retired from General Motors after 35 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry Lee Fisher. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Theresa Fisher; children, Edward David Fisher, II, his wife KaSandra, of Michigan, Jennifer Suzanne Wittman, her husband, Jeff of Casstown, OH, and Daniel Timothy Fisher of Huber Heights; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Natalie, Jakob, Emily, and Jonathan; Brothers, Mike Fisher, his wife, Sherill, Ronald Fisher, his wife, Jinx, Gary Fisher, his wife, Margo, Carl Fisher, his wife, Connie, Phillip Fisher, his wife, Stacey and Mark Fisher, his wife Tara; Sisters, Loretta Crum, Martha Baer, her husband, Jeff, and Pamela Miller, her husband Keith; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Ed was a wonderful husband, dad, brother and the greatest Pa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 5040 Rye Dr., Huber Heights, OH. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. The family will receive friends on Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH from 5-8 PM and also on Tuesday at the church from 10 AM until the time of services.
