Edward K. Edwardson, age 85 of Riverside, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born April 24, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Christian and Grace Edwardson. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen; brother, Chris; and sister, Lorraine.
Ed is survived by his children: Debrah Bowman, Cress Edwardson, Eric (Heidi) Edwardson, Lars (Marnette) Edwardson, Erin Wood, Anita Bertolo, Eddie (Amy) Edwardson and Lorna Sparaco; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Larry (Carole) Edwardson; sister, Lorna Mitten; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Ed is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Air Force, where he served in Korea and Vietnam. Ed retired with 24 years of combined service.
At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road.
