Edward Ernest Hosbach, age 92 of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully Thursday January 6th, 2022. He was born April 5th, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Frederick and Rachel (Kirshner) Hosbach.
Ed got his electrical engineering degree from University of Illinois and an MBA from University of Dayton. He was a USAF pilot and flew missions in Korea and Vietnam, obtaining the rank of Lt Colonel. After military retirement he worked as a marketing representative for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corporation maintaining his love of aviation.
He was an adventurer who loved traveling to warm places, cruises, and golf. He especially enjoyed Las Vegas for the high energy table games. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and wit; he loved to tell an animated story and make you smile.
Ed is survived by his wife Susan; children Cheryl Flatter, Ed (Therese) Hosbach, Michelle Fisher, Chris (Samantha) Neal, Corey (Jill) Neal; 14 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents; brother Fred Hosbach; and son-in-law Tom.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with military honors at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432
