Edward E. "Eddie" Duke III, age 45 of Dayton, OH passed away Monday, February 4, 2019. He was born June 20, 1973 in Xenia, Ohio to Edward Duke and Sue (Schreffler) Penix.
Eddie was big on life, had a passion for grapevining and loved nature. He was a hard worker and strived to be the best. Eddie never met a person he did not like and made many friends throughout his lifetime. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Edward is survived by a daughter, Destiny Estelle; a granddaughter, Desiah; his father, Edward E. (Rita) Duke, Jr.; a sister, DeAnne (Mike) Edwards; two nephews, Dylan and JC; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother; and a son, Edward E. Duke IV.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 9th from 11:00 to 12 Noon at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2040 W 2nd St, Xenia, OH 45385 with a memorial service to follow at 12 Noon at the church.
