DEAN, Edward R.
Age 86, passed away at his home in Dayton, OH on September 29, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Janette Dean; parents, Fred and Cora Mae Dean; sisters, Betty Odorizzi, Luella E. Demarchi, and Freda C. Rankin; and brother, Alfred Dean.
He is survived by his children, Kim Young, Amy (Donald) Whitman, Mary (Mitchell) Neal, Jane Dean, Ann (Roger) Smith, and Edward R. Dean II (Malinda Lee); sister, Shirley Vance; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Edward retired from the United States Army as Master Sergeant and from the Postal Service.
He will be laid to rest following services in Moorefield, OH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Foundation. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd.
