Edward D. Wilson

WILSON, Edward D. age 82, of Fairborn, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 at his home. He was born in Helton, KY on July 18, 1926. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Helen; children, Connie Wilson-Gibson, Duane Wilson, Daniel (Ann) Wilson, and Sherri (Kent) Patterson; grandchildren, Benjamin Gibson, Laura Gibson, Chelsea Wilson, Cortney Wilson, Caitlin Wilson, John Patterson, Elizabeth Patterson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was a member of Berean Baptist Temple in Fairborn. He was a WWII Army veteran and retired from WPAFB after 30 years of service. Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. with Kent Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the time of service. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn.
