Edward Curtis Inghram

Edward C. Inghram, 84, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on December 5, 2009 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek following an extended illness. Ed was born January 30, 1925 in Waynesburg, PA. He lived a good part of his life in Greensburg, PA, where he married Jane Hudson Inghram, who survives him. He retired from Consolidated Gas Supply Corporation as the Supervisor of the Lease and Right of Way Department. Ed was a member of Westmoreland Lodge # 518 of Free and Accepted Masons, a past member of the American Landmen Association, and was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. Indiana, PA became his home in 1981 until he moved to Ohio in 2008. In Indiana, he was a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church and the Indiana Country Club. He and Jane enjoyed being members of the Indiana Ballroom Dance Club and Shakespeare Club. In Ohio, he was a member of Kirkmont Presbyterian Church in Beavercreek. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane L. Inghram; his parents, Edward and Eliza Jane Inghram, and a sister, Patricia I. Day. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Sandra (Ed) Baker, of Beavercreek; grandson, Steve (Heather) Paxton, of Columbia, MO; granddaughter, Amy (Peter) Samborsky and their two sons; Nolan and Parker, of Bellbrook, Ohio; a brother, Frederick W. Inghram, of Birmingham, AL also survives along with Ed's precious pets Mona and Gingersnap. Arrangements are being handled by Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 11:30 a.m., at Kirkmont Presbyterian Church (3377 Shakertown Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45434.If desired, memorial contributions in Ed's memory may be sent to a charity of choice.
