Edward Collinsworth

Edward Collinsworth, age 83 of Middletown, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 unexpectedly at home. He was born March 17, 1932 in Pomeroyton, Kentucky the son of Albert and Ethel Collinsworth. Ed worked 41 years at General Motors and was currently employed at the Middletown Senior Center for 9 years as a driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his 8 siblings.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Sue; a son, Edward (Mae) Collinsworth; two daughters, Brandy (David) Gibbs and Julie (Josh Woodworth) Collinsworth; six grandchildren, A.J., Kayla, Olivia Rose, Katherine, Andrew, and Allison; a brother, Donald Collinsworth; two sisters, Marie (Homer) Blevins and Pauline (Meryl) Nickels; and extended family members, Mike (Leah) Gillespie. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Sunday June 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 am at Butler County Memorial Park.
