CAMPBELL, EDWARD
77 of Springboro, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2004 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Edward was born April 27, 1927, the son of Mann and Alice Campbell. He was a member of Middletown Masonic Lodge, Chapter 87; Council 136; and Franklin Eastern Star, Lodge 55. Edward was well known in his area for his talent in playing various Blue Grass and Country instruments. He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Marti Hamilton-Campbell; step-granddaughter, Tori Crowe; daughter, Wanda Scott; step-son, Vic Crowe; sister, Roselee Neace; brothers, Willard, Elmer, Arnold, and Henry Jr. Watts; grandchildren, Robert and Mark Scott, and Kim Hendricks; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Ruth Campbell; and brothers, Eurshel and James Watts. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Masonic services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday with interment following in Springboro Cemetery.
