Edra M. Simpson, age 78, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in Hillsboro, OH. Edra was born in Bear Track, KY on July 30, 1937 to the late Clyde and Mary Gabbard.
In addition to her parents, Edra was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas D. Simpson and daughter-in-law, Vanessa Simpson.
Edra is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James N. Simpson, son, James G. Simpson, grandson, Garret Simpson and granddaughter, Ashley Simpson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH). A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
