Edna Roudebush

ROUDEBUSH, Edna M. (Bishop) 82, of Dayton, Ohio, raised in Findlay, Ohio, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Edna was born August 4, 1927 one of nine children born to the late Ray and Florence Bishop. Her husband of 42 years Glenn E. Roudebush, son Glenn T. Roudebush, brothers Ralph, Marion and Eugene Bishop preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Arlington High school and worked at Wright Patterson AFB during WWII. Survived by her 9 children: Deborah Kostic, Glenda Misier-Singletary, (Bob Singletary), Marc Roudebush, Donna (Mick)Netherton, Donald (Nancy) Roudebush, Rita Pendleton, Shelia Wright-Lyons (Frank Lyons), Darla (Robert) Swartzel, Anita Newport (Vince Stringer) 29 Grandchildren, 31 Great grandchildren, her brother Walter (Helen) Bishop, Clair (Beulah) Bishop, Gerald (Pauline) Bishop, sisters Helen (Bob) Brinkman, Mary (Bob) Hubbard and sister-in-law Madonna Bishop and Madeline Bishop, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to the Hospice staff for all your love and support. Family will receive guests Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). Services will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 at 1:00 PM also at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory. Donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton in her memory.
