Edna May Dutton, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13th at age 89.
Edna was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on February 15, 1926. She graduated from Kiser High School in 1944 as class valedictorian and The University of Dayton Summa Cum Laude. She was active in church, PTA, Girl Scouting, and later in life Geneology. Kind and intelligent, she was an avid reader of science, nature, and world history. Edna will be greatly missed by many friends, family and relatives.
She is survived by her sons, Paul (Martha) Dutton, Bob (Kim) Dutton, Dan (Eydie) Dutton, Ken Dutton; daughter, Becky (Mark Banner) Tullis; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Dutton.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 from 12PM until 1:30PM service time at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424.
Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle.
