PENIX, Edna M., age 86, born in Peebles, OH on December 19, 1926, and of Kettering, OH, passed away on Thursday September 12, 2013.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Penix Sr.; parents, John W. and Ocie Mae Huffman; and siblings, Richard, Mable, Anna Grace, Bobby, Eleanor, Mary Ruth, and Betty. Survivors include her sons, Edgar (Tracy) Penix Jr. and Steve (Martha) Penix; grandchildren, Jason, Trina, Danielle, Justin, Emily, and Sarah; great grandchildren, Caleb, Jayden, Elijah, and Keegan; siblings, Helen, Walter, and Bill; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A special thank you to Christine, Lisa, Courtney, Kenny (Thank you for the back rubs), and the entire staff at The Sanctuary for your professionalism, heart, and never give up attitudes. You are all very special. We were so fortunate, "no one ever left your kitchen table a stranger." Always open, never turned away.
