Edna Mae Greene, 91, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014. She was born November 5, 1922 in Garrett, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Greene Jr.; parents, Willie and Darcus Ratliff; daughter, Stella Greene; brother, Luther Ratliff and sister, Lou Ellen Morse. Edna was a member of Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church for 47 years. She devoted her life to her children and family and will be greatly missed by all. Edna is survived by her two sons, Willie P. Greene, Robert E. (Carolyn) Greene; two daughters, Darcus E. (Paul) Philpot and Connie (Lynn) Donaldson; grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Holly, Zachary, Rachel, Amanda and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Draven and Declan. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Hollie VanHoose officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
