Edna Lou Roark

Roark, Edna L., age 53, of Dayton, left this world to be with the Heavenly Father and join those who went before her. She was born on September 7, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio and died on February 6, 2009. She is survived by her twin sister, Brenda who was by her side their entire life; brother Ronald and wife Becky, niece, Jennifer and nephew, Randy (Emilee) and great niece, Sienna; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. She attended Kennedy Grade School for the Deaf. She graduated from Colonel White High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marcella and Lee Roark and numerous other family members. She lived her life as an inspiration to everyone she knew. Special thanks to Gem City Home Heath Care nurses, Jennifer and Michelle. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 PM.
