JONES, Edna Inez, age 85, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010. She was born May 22, 1925. Edna was born and raised in Kentucky to the late Bill and Pearl (Bruce) Jones. She is also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Ione Abbott, Hazel Perry, and Kathryn Layman; 2 brothers, Ralph and Paul Jones, and husband of 45 years, John Paul Jones.

Edna is survived by her sons, Ronald D. and Robert L. Jones; 6 grandchildren, Brian, Tim, Brandy, Todd, Bridget, and Troy; 14 great grandchildren, Robbie, Michael, Timmy, Sha'Tisha, Austin, Leah, Ian, Andrew, Troy, Jr., Cassie, Arianna, Kiersten, Molly Joy, and Caitlin. Edna enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, and cooking for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, with a generous heart.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Pastor Douglas Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Aley Cemetery, Beavercreek. Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the funeral home.
