Edna Diggs

DIGGS, Edna Carita, 58, of West Carrolton, OH passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Caleb and Mary Lee Diggs; and brother, Emmett King. She is remembered with love by sons, Hamilton (Patricia) and Alexander Harper; sisters, Norma Melvin, Kaye White, and Benita Diggs; and countless family members and close friends. A native of Virginia, Edna lived in Ohio since entering college at 18. She was a graduate of Denison and The Ohio State Universities, worked for the Ohio Historical Society for over 25 years, and was an active member of St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church.

Visitation is Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 9 AM to 11 AM with memorial Mass starting at 11 AM at St. Benedict the Moor Church, Dayton, OH.
