COLLINS, Edmonia C., age 91, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 21, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, John Collins and son, Glynn Collins.
Edmonia is survived by her children, John (Linda) Collins, Everette Collins, and Brenda MacLeod; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bert (Lorraine) Clark, Amanda Snyder, Glynn (Carol) Clark, and Mae Shireling; and many other relatives and friends.
Edmonia was a teacher for the Kettering School District for over 30 years. She will be loved and deeply missed by all.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Heritage Hills Memory Gardens.
Donations may be made in Edmonia's memory to The American Lung Association of Ohio (1950 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, OH, 43228).
